Esteban Ocon Reveals Haas Still Has No Answers for Recurring Car Problems

The first half of the season has been challenging for Esteban Ocon, with the Haas driver scoring just three points across the opening 12 Grands Prix. As the championship resumes after the summer break, Ocon admitted that the team is still searching for answers to the recurring issues affecting the car’s consistency.The Frenchman returned from the break in positive spirits, saying he was able to rest, train properly and arrive at the Dutch Grand Prix in good physical condition. However, his passion for racing meant that Formula 1 was never completely out of his mind.Ocon hopes Haas can carry the momentum from the previous race into the second half of the campaign after the team managed to extract the maximum from the car.The biggest concern, however, remains the unpredictable behaviour of the Haas. Ocon revealed that neither he nor the team fully understands why the car sometimes performs inconsistently, with similar problems also affecting his teammate.“We are still trying to understand what is causing these issues. They make the weekend much more difficult and complicate the analysis of our performance. Hopefully, we can identify the root cause soon, but at the moment it remains a mystery,” Ocon said.The Haas driver will now be hoping that the team can find a solution and turn its improved performance into more consistent results during the second half of the Formula 1 season.
