Ferrari has revealed a special SF-26 design for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, with the livery paying tribute to seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher.An all-red colour scheme will replace the white section normally visible on the engine cover, giving the car a visual identity inspired by Ferrari’s successful period with Schumacher.Several details further strengthen the connection with the German driver. Ferrari has selected a race-number font reminiscent of the designs used on its cars during Schumacher’s years with the Scuderia, while his signature has also been incorporated into the bodywork.Seven stars feature on the nose of the SF-26, representing Schumacher’s seven World Championship titles. Five of those championships were secured with Ferrari between 2000 and 2004, a period that established him as one of the most important figures in the team’s history.Special race suits prepared for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were unveiled ahead of the car, completing Ferrari’s tribute for its home event.Fans at Monza will therefore see a modern SF-26 carrying several visual references to one of the most successful eras in Ferrari’s Formula 1 history, bringing Schumacher’s legacy into the spotlight once again at the team’s home Grand Prix.
