Madrid GP Sparks Ticket Rush Ahead of Debut
The high level of interest from spectators in the debut Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid is already evident demand for tickets has proven so strong that organizers describe the project as one of the most commercially promising in recent years.
Today, the official pricing policy was announced. The most affordable tickets, granting access to grandstands located near Turns 16 and 17 expected to be among the most exciting braking zones have already sold out. Meanwhile, the most expensive seats are those situated along the start-finish straight, in the area of the opening corners, and at the profiled Monumental banking with a 24-degree incline. Tickets for these locations are priced at €799, a figure that even surpasses the prices seen at the renowned Zandvoort circuit.
Organizers have also confirmed that the initial race will be limited to a capacity of approximately 110,000 seats. This decision was made deliberately, with the aim of avoiding excessive overcrowding and allowing promoters to carefully test all aspects of event management, from logistics to safety. In the future, the number of available seats may be expanded if the inaugural edition proves successful.
