Max Verstappen’s Red Bull Future Confirmed Until 2030

Max Verstappen will remain with Red Bull Racing through the end of 2030. The team officially announced the new agreement ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix, confirming its intention to retain one of the key figures in its long-term project.

Verstappen joined Red Bull in 2016 and has since become a central figure within the team. Together, they have secured four Drivers’ Championships, two Constructors’ Championships and 71 Formula 1 victories.

Red Bull Racing Team Principal Laurent Mekies highlighted Verstappen’s enormous influence on the team’s development and his importance to its recent history. He also stressed the mutual trust between the driver and the team, as well as their shared ambition to return to the top of the championship.

Verstappen said he was delighted to continue his partnership with Red Bull. According to the Dutchman, the team has become like a second family to him, while his main objective remains unchanged: to fight for race victories and championship titles once again.

The contract extension was announced at a particularly significant moment for Verstappen, during the final Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. The driver described the timing as symbolic and expressed his hope of giving the home fans a memorable conclusion to the event.
