AMG Nights:Pitt and Russell in Vegas

Brad Pitt and Formula 1 driver George Russell have become the faces of Mercedes’ new advertising campaign, delivering a production with real show-stopping flair.

The night-time shoot took place in the heart of Las Vegas, on the parking lot of the Caesars Palace hotel. In the storyline, Pitt portrays a guest patiently waiting for his car, while the valet played by Russell takes a little longer than expected. The reason is simple: a series of spectacular donuts performed in a Mercedes-AMG on the cobblestone surface.

In reality, the high-action driving scenes were handled not by Russell, but by Formula Drift champion Samuel Hübinette, who expertly controlled the car on the slippery surface. Russell himself appeared in the vehicle only for close-up shots but the end result was undeniably impressive.
