Antonelli Delighted as Strategy Delivers Victory

In Miami, Kimi Antonelli secured his third consecutive victory, once again converting pole position into a race win. The 19-year-old Mercedes driver made history in Formula 1 by becoming the first driver to win each of his first three career victories from pole.

His launch off the line was far from perfect, but he quickly settled into a strong and controlled rhythm. A well-timed early pit stop from Mercedes proved decisive, undercutting Lando Norris and promoting Antonelli into the lead, which he then managed with composure to the chequered flag.

Antonelli admitted the start was slightly improved compared to the previous day, though still marked by a few tense moments and minor errors in wheel-to-wheel combat. He highlighted the team’s strategy and execution as fundamental to the result, expressing gratitude to both the team and his family, while stressing that this achievement is just the beginning of a much longer journey.
