Aprilia Celebrates as Bezzecchi Wins British GP
Marco Bezzecchi Wins the British Grand Prix for Aprilia
Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi claimed victory at the British Grand Prix after a dramatic and incident-filled race.
The race saw two starts due to an early crash involving Alex Marquez, Franco Morbidelli, Aleix Espargaro, and Marc Marquez shortly after the initial start. Marc Marquez was involved in a separate incident later in the race, causing him to fall behind. As fewer than three laps had been completed at the time, the race was red-flagged and all riders were allowed to restart.
Francesco Bagnaia crashed out of the race and was unable to continue.
Following the restart, Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi took the lead and maintained his advantage through to the chequered flag, securing a well-deserved victory. French Grand Prix winner Johann Zarco finished in second place, while Marc Marquez recovered to complete the podium in third. Franco Morbidelli and Alex Marquez rounded out the top five.
