Aron to Make FP1 Debut with Sauber

Alpine Reserve Driver Paul Aron to Participate in Free Practice Sessions with Sauber

Alpine’s reserve driver, Paul Aron, is set to drive for Sauber during the first free practice sessions at both the British and Hungarian Grands Prix. The French team has reached an agreement with Sauber to provide the young Estonian driver with valuable Formula 1 experience.

It is worth noting that each team is required to run a young driver in at least two free practice sessions per car during the season—totaling a minimum of four such sessions across the year.

Sauber has already fulfilled its rookie driver obligation for the season with Brazilian driver Gabriel Bortoleto. The debutant scored his first career Formula 1 points by finishing eighth at the Austrian Grand Prix.
