Aston Martin Names Newey Team Principal for 2026

Aston Martin has announced leadership changes in Formula 1: from 2026, the team will be led by Adrian Newey. The British expert, who joined the team this year as Managing Technical Partner, will now oversee all engineers and trackside operations.

Andy Cowell will assume a new role as Strategy Director, reporting directly to Lawrence Stroll. He is expected to optimize the team’s collaboration with key partners Honda, Aramco, and Valvoline to ensure the most efficient integration of chassis and power unit.
