Aston Martin Signs Cardile
Ferrari and Aston Martin Reach Agreement on Enrico Cardile’s Transfer
Ferrari and Aston Martin have finalized all formalities regarding the transfer of former Scuderia Technical Director Enrico Cardile, who will assume the same position at the British team.
Initially, Ferrari insisted on a 12-month gardening leave for Cardile in order to prevent any potential leaks of sensitive information related to ongoing projects. However, according to Corriere dello Sport, the intervention of Lawrence Stroll helped both parties reach a mutually acceptable solution. As a result, Cardile has been cleared to begin his duties at Aston Martin immediately.
“We are pleased to have reached a solution that works for all sides, and we’re excited to welcome Enrico to the team. He will start without delay in his new role as Technical Director, leading our engineering and design functions at the AMR Technology Campus,” a spokesperson for Aston Martin stated.
