Baku GP 2025 Boosts Fan Capacity
Preparations Underway for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025
Preparations for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025 are currently ongoing. This year, two additional grandstands are planned to be installed at the Baku City Circuit to accommodate growing spectator demand.
Installation of grandstands around the circuit has already begun. Taking into account the increasing interest from both local and international fans, the circuit infrastructure is being expanded, raising spectator capacity by 1,500 seats to surpass a total of 20,000.
It is worth noting that during the 2024 edition of the event, more than 76,000 fans attended the race live over four days.
As part of the ongoing preparations, temporary restrictions will be implemented in certain areas of the Baku Seaside Boulevard. Residents and visitors are kindly asked for their understanding during this period.
The Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025 is scheduled to take place from 19 to 21 September.
