Baku Streets to Remain Open During Peak Hours
As in previous years, during the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025, to be held from 19–21 September, certain sections of Baku’s streets within the circuit will remain accessible to traffic in the mornings and evenings.
To ensure convenience for city residents, transit corridors will again be in operation this year. Accordingly, from 15–17 September, traffic movement will be allowed on parts of the circuit between 07:00–09:00 in the mornings and 18:00–20:00 in the evenings. On 18 September, traffic access will be permitted between 07:00–09:00 in the morning and 20:00–22:00 in the evening.

It should be noted that Baku is one of the rare city circuits in Formula 1 where roads are opened during peak hours even on race week. In 2024, following the race, Baku returned to its normal rhythm at record speed: within just 16 hours,60% of the protective barriers were dismantled and removed, and the city was fully restored within a single day.
Thus, both the successful organization of the race and the daily comfort of residents are ensured in parallel.
