Crawford Replaces Stroll for Abu Dhabi FP1 Run

Aston Martin has announced a driver change for the first practice session of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: test driver Jack Crawford will once again take the wheel of the AMR25, replacing Lance Stroll. Following the race weekend, the American will also participate in the post-season Young Driver Test at the Yas Marina Circuit.

For Crawford, this will be his second Formula 1 weekend appearance, having previously taken part in the first practice session in Mexico. According to Jack, his extensive simulator work and recent track experience will help him adapt quickly and perform effectively during the session.

Team Principal Andy Cowell emphasized that Aston Martin is committed to providing young drivers with substantial track time to support their development. The upcoming running in Abu Dhabi will be an important step in preparing Crawford for his role as the team’s third driver next season.
