DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award:Ferrari Is the Fastest

The chaotic and unpredictable Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort has officially concluded, leaving behind a series of dramatic moments and strategic battles. One of the notable highlights came from the pit lane, where the Ferrari crew delivered the fastest pit stop of the race. They serviced Charles Leclerc’s car with impressive precision, completing the stop in just 2.10 seconds. Although this time falls short of setting a new all-time record, it was nonetheless the quickest pit stop of the Grand Prix a small but significant victory for the Scuderia on an otherwise turbulent weekend.

In total, teams across the grid executed 40 pit stops throughout the race, each playing a crucial role in tire strategy and overall race positioning. Among them, the longest stop occurred on lap 51, when Carlos Sainz brought his car into the pits. During this visit, carried out by the Williams team, Sainz served a time penalty, which significantly extended the duration of the stop and impacted his race outcome. While not a routine service, it stood out as the most time-consuming stop of the event.

The contrast between the fastest and slowest pit stops at Zandvoort once again highlights the importance of flawless execution in the pit lane where every fraction of a second can make the difference between gaining positions or falling behind.
