Ecclestone Backed Bortoleto to F1

Gabriel Bortoleto:A Rising Star Gaining Momentum in Formula1

There has been growing attention around Gabriel Bortoleto in recent weeks. The promising Brazilian rookie continues to score points consistently, and he truly made a mark at the recent Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying in 7th place and finishing the race in 6th.

Bortoleto holds a long-term contract with the Sauber team, ensuring his presence in the lineup through 2026, when the team will rebrand as Audi F1.His career is managed by A14 Management an agency owned by Fernando Alonso.

What’s particularly noteworthy is that Bortoleto is holding his own against teammate Nico Hülkenberg, one of the most experienced drivers on the grid. While Nico has finished ahead in eight of the fourteen races so far this season, Bortoleto leads the qualifying head-to-head 9–5 an impressive feat for a newcomer.

Naturally, Alonso continues to support his protege, and the two have already had several exciting on-track battles. But Bortoleto’s fanbase extends beyond the paddock as well one of his most prominent supporters is none other than Bernie Ecclestone, the former head of Formula1 management.

Last year, Ecclestone’s wife, Fabiana Flosi, revealed that her husband had played a key role in helping Bortoleto reach Formula 1.Bernie himself has spoken highly of the 20-year-old Sauber driver: “I helped facilitate Gabriel’s debut in Formula 1, and I’m proud of that. I’d say this young man is worth his weight in gold.”

Fernando Alonso has also previously stated that he considers Bortoleto the most talented driver of his generation.
