F1 Joins the Fortnite Grid

Formula 1 is entering the world of Fortnite: a partnership with Epic Games has been announced, under which the game will feature an official bundle with championship-themed content. The “ F1 Team ” collection will be available starting November 20, just ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. It will include race suit skins, gliders, and pickaxes featuring the liveries of all ten teams, as well as the official F1 logo and an exclusive victory emote.

Formula 1 explains that this collaboration is a new way to engage audiences and bring together the worlds of gaming and motorsport. F1’s Chief Commercial Officer, Emily Prazer, stated: “Our partnership with Fortnite is an opportunity to meet fans in an unexpected environment. We want to be present where our audience spends their time and offer them new ways to interact with the sport.”
