The FIA, Formula 1, and all 11 championship teams have signed a new Concorde Agreement, which will remain in effect until 2030. The agreement was announced simultaneously on Friday evening by the press offices of both the FIA and Formula 1.
The five-year contract establishes the foundation for a new era of cooperation between the FIA and the Formula 1 Group, reinforces the stability of the championship, and provides opportunities for further growth of its global audience. The agreement offers long-term certainty for teams, broadcast partners, and fans alike.
Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali described the agreement as a significant milestone in the history of the series, noting that it creates the conditions for continued global expansion and opens a new chapter in Formula 1’s history during its 75th anniversary year.
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem emphasized that the ninth Concorde Agreement ensures Formula 1’s long-term future, supports the development of regulatory and technological frameworks, and guarantees that the championship remains at the forefront of global motorsport.
