Ferrari Fined €10,000 for Pit Lane Incident

The stewards of the Singapore Grand Prix fined Ferrari €10,000 for the unsafe release of Charles Leclerc’s car during the second practice session.

The incident occurred as Leclerc was exiting the pit lane, when he made contact with Lando Norris. As a result, the McLaren driver damaged his front wing after hitting the pit wall. According to the stewards, the Ferrari mechanic misjudged the situation and gave Leclerc unclear instructions, which led to the collision.

It was noted that similar incidents have occurred in the past, but on this occasion the fine was doubled €10,000 instead of the usual €5,000.
