Ferrari Fires Fastest Pit Stop in Shanghai

At the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, the fastest pit stop was performed by the mechanics of Ferrari, who serviced the car of Lewis Hamilton in just 2.29 seconds. The crew executed the stop almost flawlessly, replacing all four tyres with remarkable speed, allowing the driver to rejoin the track quickly and maintain a competitive position in the battle with his rivals.

Over the course of the race, the teams completed a total of 19 pit stops, employing different strategic approaches to tyre management. Some drivers made only a single visit to the pit lane, while others were forced to stop more frequently due to strategy considerations or tyre wear.

The longest stop was recorded for Esteban Ocon on lap 46. During this visit to the pits, the French driver served a penalty, which meant his car remained stationary significantly longer than during a standard pit stop before returning to the race.
