Haas Prepares for First Race After Summer Break
The Haas F1 team is preparing for the upcoming Dutch Grand Prix. Esteban Ocon has competed four times at Zandvoort and scored points on two of those appearances, while Oliver Bearman will be making his Formula 1 debut at the track, having previously raced there only in junior series.
Ayao Komatsu,Team Principal: “After the two-week summer break, we are invigorated and ready to return to racing, especially at Zandvoort, which is known for its unique atmosphere and passionate fans. Before the break, we failed to capitalize on our potential in some races, but the team has now recharged. Our priority is to hit the ground running and maximize every opportunity, as competition is more intense than ever.”
Oliver Bearman: “I spent the break resting and training, and I’m now highly motivated to get back on track. Zandvoort is a short, narrow circuit with numerous challenging, banked corners, which makes it particularly intriguing. I’m eager to see what our car can do there and hope we can fight for points.”
Esteban Ocon: “After a restful break with family and friends, I am fully prepared to continue the season. The atmosphere in Zandvoort is fantastic the passionate Dutch fans always inspire. Overtaking is difficult there, so a strong qualifying performance is essential. We lacked consistency earlier in the year, and now we are fully committed to extracting every ounce of performance. I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel!”
