Haas Targets F1 Fightback at Zandvoort as Dutch GP Marks Season Return
Haas Ready for Dutch Grand Prix as Formula 1 Returns From Summer Break Haas is ready to resume its Formula 1 campaign at the Dutch Grand Prix after the summer break, with Zandvoort set to host the opening round of the second half of the season. Team Principal Ayao Komatsu said the break came at the right time after a challenging run of races, giving the team an opportunity to recover and prepare for the remaining rounds. With the Dutch Grand Prix featuring a Sprint format, Haas will have just one practice session to optimise its car ahead of qualifying. Oliver Bearman also welcomed the break and said his priority for the second half of the season is to deliver consistently strong performances and work closely with the team to maximise its results. The British driver added that he particularly enjoys Zandvoort and its unique atmosphere, while regretting that this will be the circuit’s final appearance on the current F1 calendar. Esteban Ocon echoed those sentiments, saying Haas is aiming to build on the consistency shown at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Frenchman praised Zandvoort as an exciting circuit and stressed that the team must maximise every session during the Sprint weekend.
