Haas Unveils VF-26 Ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 Season

Haas F1 Team has unveiled the VF-26, the car that Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman will race in the 2026 season. The team describes the project as bold in terms of design, although the familiar colour scheme remains intact, with a white-and-black base complemented by subtle red accents.

One of the most notable visual elements is the presence of stylised Toyota Gazoo Racing logos on the car’s aerodynamic surfaces, reflecting the Japanese manufacturer’s motorsport division becoming the American team’s title partner.

The launch took place in an online format, with Haas releasing a dynamic video presentation alongside digital renders of the car, which has been developed in accordance with Formula 1’s 2026 technical regulations. Next-generation cars are smaller and lighter, feature reduced levels of downforce, and are powered by updated hybrid power units designed to run on fully synthetic fuel.

The team notes that development of the 2026 car was carried out in parallel with last season’s campaign, presenting a significant challenge. The current focus is on understanding the new car’s potential and adapting to its characteristics, with Haas relying on a stable driver line-up and continuity within its engineering structure.

The VF-26 will complete its first on-track mileage in Barcelona during initial tests scheduled from January 26 to 30. The programme will then continue in Bahrain with two official test sessions in February.
