Hadjar Brings F1 Action Back to Magny-Cours

The Magny-Cours circuit, which last hosted a Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2008,came alive again last weekend with the Red Bull Motormania festival. The event offered a packed program of drifting, stunt riding, motorcycle shows and a star turn from Racing Bulls driver Isack Hadjar.

The Frenchman thrilled local fans by taking to the track in the 2011 RB7, lighting up the Adelaide hairpin with spectacular donuts. It was a landmark moment for Hadjar, marking the first time he had demonstrated a Formula 1 car in front of his home crowd. He later appeared on stage alongside Sébastien Buemi to proudly display his maiden F1 trophy, earned at the Dutch Grand Prix.

Another highlight came in the form of head-to-head track battles, where Hadjar lined up against two legends of motorsport:nine-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb in the Peugeot 206 T16 built for Pikes Peak, and MotoGP icon Dani Pedrosa aboard the KTM RC16.

“It was a truly unforgettable experience,” said Hadjar. “Driving the RB7 in France, in front of my home fans, was something very special.To then go wheel-to-wheel with my childhood heroes Dani and Seb made the day even more memorable.”
