Hamilton Resets His Inner Circle
Lewis Hamilton has undertaken a restructuring of his inner circle ahead of the upcoming Formula 1 season. At the time, he refrained from providing details, stating only that he aimed to “enhance the efficiency of team collaboration.”
Over time, his intentions became clearer. Early in the year, Riccardo Adami stepped down from his position as Hamilton’s race engineer. Beginning in 2026, Hamilton’s engineering duties will be assumed by Cedric Michel-Grosjean, an experienced specialist who previously worked at McLaren. Shortly thereafter, it was reported that Hamilton had also ended his cooperation with his manager, Marc Hynes, who had supported him through nearly his entire career. Yet these changes were not the last.
According to The Times, Hamilton’s press officer, Ella Yeboah whom he brought to Ferrari last summer from his Mission 44 initiative, which focuses on equality and inclusion no longer works with the Italian team. During the previous season, she oversaw Hamilton’s interactions with the media, after which questions occasionally arose regarding his emotional state.
It remains unknown who will assume the role of Hamilton’s new press officer. During his time at Mercedes, this responsibility was handled by Ben Cowley, who now heads his own marketing agency, Pace Six Four.
