Hamilton:Resetting After a Difficult Season
Lewis Hamilton has wrapped up what was arguably the toughest season of his career and is using the short winter break to reset ahead of 2026. At the same time, the seven-time world champion has not disappeared from his fans’ radar, maintaining his usual high level of activity on social media.
Hamilton traditionally spends part of the winter in the United States, and it recently emerged that he is currently in New York. “It’s my favourite city. It’s incredibly inspiring and helps me focus my thoughts and creativity,” Lewis said.
Creativity is a particularly close theme for him right now. Just days ago, Hamilton once again reflected on F1 The Movie, on which he worked as a producer and consultant. He said he remains extremely proud of his involvement in the project, describing the film as an ambitious attempt to bring the world of Formula 1 to the big screen in a new way.
On track, however, the season proved far less impressive. In his first year with Ferrari, Hamilton scored just 156 points, finishing well behind Charles Leclerc and more than doubling down on the gap to 2025 world champion Lando Norris.
