Jack Crawford Joins Aston Martin as 2026 Reserve

Aston Martin has officially announced the signing of 20-year-old American driver Jack Crawford for the 2026 season. Next year, he will assume the role of the team’s third driver based in Silverstone.

The press release specifically noted that Crawford will serve as the reserve driver at all rounds of the upcoming championship.

Crawford shared his thoughts on the announcement: “It is a tremendous honor and an important milestone in my career to be confirmed as the third driver for the 2026 season. This recognition of my efforts is not only deeply motivating but also inspires me to continue learning and contributing to the team.

Over the past two years in Formula 1, I have gained invaluable experience both on the track and at the team’s base. I will do my utmost to support Aston Martin and to continue developing as a driver.”
