Johann Zarco is aiming to return to MotoGP action at the Aragon Grand Prix, which will take place from August 28–30. The French rider has missed several rounds after suffering a serious left-knee injury in a crash at the Catalan Grand Prix.Zarco was initially expected to require more time to recover, with his return anticipated in September. However, his rehabilitation has progressed better than expected, prompting the Castrol Honda LCR rider to target a return in Aragon. In recent weeks, Zarco has gradually increased his workload and resumed motorcycle training. As part of his preparation, he has been riding a supermoto bike and a Honda CBR1000RR to assess his knee and regain the physical condition required for competition. However, the 36-year-old's participation in the race weekend has not yet been officially confirmed. Before taking part in on-track activities, Zarco will have to undergo a mandatory medical assessment at MotorLand Aragon. He will only be cleared to return to full track action once he receives approval from the medical team.
