Joshua Durksen Dominates Monza with Back-to-Back F2 Victories

Several post-qualifying penalties altered the Formula 2 feature-race starting grid, although the leading three positions remained unchanged from Friday’s session.Invicta Racing secured a front-row lockout, with Rafael Camara starting from pole and Joshua Durksen lining up alongside his teammate. Durksen entered the feature race with confidence after claiming victory in the previous day’s sprint.The Paraguayan made a strong launch and immediately attacked Camara into Turn 1. Camara was forced wide and cut the opening chicane, while Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak made the most of the early drama to climb into third. The DAMS driver also gained places on Alex Dunne and Noel León around the outside of the opening corner.The battle at the front quickly became an all-Invicta affair. Camara reclaimed the lead on lap four, but Durksen responded on the next lap, using the slipstream and DRS to move back ahead. Camara hit back immediately, retaking first place one lap later.With the teammates continuing to fight for position, Invicta Racing intervened with its pit strategy. Durksen was brought in first for his mandatory stop, rejoining the circuit in ninth and leaving the race leader to control the pace at the front.
