Kimi Antonelli Satisfied After Strong Qualifying

Kimi Antonelli secured his third consecutive pole position across three very different circuits, a feat that can no longer be attributed to chance alone. It increasingly appears that Mercedes were justified in placing their trust in the young Italian driver. Notably, his first-ever Formula 1 pole also came in Miami, one year ago, during the Sprint qualifying session.

Antonelli (1st): “It has been a great day, and I am pleased to be on pole again. The morning was not ideal, as the Sprint did not go as we had hoped, but we managed to improve. Qualifying went well overall, although I was a little nervous on the final run in Q3. Fortunately, my first push lap was strong enough, and I am very satisfied with the result.”
