Kosinski Hints at F1 Movie 2
The success of F1 The Movie, released in the summer of 2025, has sparked a wave of rumors about a sequel. The film, starring Brad Pitt, grossed over $631 million worldwide, and discussions about a second installment are now underway despite Lewis Hamilton’s earlier statements that there would be no follow-up.
Variety reported that initial steps toward production are being taken, while the Financial Times writes that Apple is considering developing the project into a full franchise. Director Joseph Kosinski has further fueled speculation, telling Variety that the team is already discussing the future of Sonny Hayes and the APX GP team.
Kosinski stated: “We are at the stage of exploring ideas and imagining what the next chapter of this story could be. Judging by the global audience reaction, people clearly want a continuation and I would be happy to return and make it happen.”
