Leclerc Returns to Winning Ways with British Grand Prix Victory
Charles Leclerc claimed victory at the British Grand Prix, celebrating his first win since the 2024 United States Grand Prix. The result also marked Ferrari's first double podium finish since the 2024 season finale in Abu Dhabi, with Leclerc taking the chequered flag ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton, who finished third.
Charles Leclerc (P1):
"This victory means a lot to me. After several difficult weekends, we finally found the right direction with the SF-26, and I was able to regain the confidence I had been missing behind the wheel. After the Sprint on Saturday, it became clear that we had made a significant step forward, and today's result confirmed that we were on the right track.
The past few races have been frustrating, with mistakes, accidents and reliability issues preventing us from achieving the results we were capable of. This weekend at Silverstone, everything came together perfectly, and I want to thank the entire team for all the hard work that made this victory possible."
