Lewis Hamilton Shares Thoughts Ahead of Baku Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton delivered a confident performance in Monza, finishing sixth despite starting from tenth on the grid due to a penalty. The Ferrari driver is aiming for a strong result at the upcoming round in Baku but admits he will need to build up his pace gradually over the course of the race weekend.
Lewis Hamilton:"I believe I will once again have to start almost from scratch,as the next round takes place on a circuit where, for many years, I raced with cars of very different characteristics. In Monza, the car handled more consistently, particularly in the slower sections, and I expect the situation in Azerbaijan to be fairly similar.
Nevertheless, I will begin the weekend in Baku on the back foot and will look to steadily increase my speed. I intend to make full use of all the experience I have accumulated. I am confident that I will feel most comfortable behind the wheel on Sunday, during the closing laps of the Baku Grand Prix."
