Madrid Grand Prix Organizers Announce Christmas Ticket Sale
Organizers of the Formula 1 Madrid Grand Prix, scheduled for the autumn of 2026, have announced the release of an additional 30,000 tickets for sale during the Christmas period. Earlier, by September 23, all 50,000 pre-sale tickets had been sold out in a short time.
Jose Vicente de los Mozos, head of IFEMA and promoter of the event, stated that the grandstands of the new MadRing circuit will have a total capacity of 115,000 spectators, with approximately 80,000 seats already sold. He expressed confidence that the Madrid Grand Prix will become one of Spain’s largest sporting events since the 1992 Summer Olympics.
According to de los Mozos, the organizers are paying close attention to transport capacity and environmental standards. He also commented on protests from some local residents, emphasizing that all construction work is being carried out in accordance with legal requirements and noise regulations.
“Not everyone is happy with the project, but we remain open to dialogue and are acting strictly within the law,” he noted.
