Marquez Tops Sprint Race in Austin

Marc Marquez was the fastest rider in the Sprint Race of the Americas Grand Prix.

Following the start, the running order included Marc Márquez, Francesco Bagnaia, Alex Maquez, Fabio Quartararo, Pedro Acosta, Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Joan Mir, Maverick Viñales, and Luca Marini. Francesco Bagnaia had a strong start and led the race for several laps, but was eventually overtaken by Márquez.

Marc Marquez maintained his pace and remained the fastest rider until the end of the race. During lap 9 of the third round of the championship, Maverick Vinales returned to the pits and was forced to retire.

In the end, Marc Marquez claimed victory in the Sprint Race, followed by Alex Marquez in second and Francesco Bagnaia in third. Fabio Di Giannantonio finished fourth, Franco Morbidelli fifth, Fabio Quartararo sixth, Pedro Acosta seventh, Luca Marini eighth, and Ai Ogura ninth.
