Marc Marquez Triumphs in Rain-Soaked Sprint at Sachsenring

In wet conditions at the Sachsenring circuit in Germany, Marc Marquez stood out by clinching the sprint race victory. On the final lap, he overtook teammate Marco Bezzecchi and celebrated a hard-fought win.

Starting from pole position, Márquez led into Turn 1 but slipped off track and fell back to fifth place. Marco Bezzecchiinitially took the lead, followed closely by Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo. However, Morbidelli, who had crashed during qualifying in Turn 8, again suffered a setback in the sprint and retired.

Entering the last lap, Márquez narrowed the gap and reclaimed the lead, solidifying his sprint victory. Fabio Quartararosecured third place, earning Yamaha its first sprint podium of the season — his first since the 2023 Assen Grand Prix.
