The marshals of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025 are already on duty. Tomorrow, the world’s fastest drivers will take to the streets of Baku, and the most important team responsible for their safety is fully prepared the Formula 1 marshals. This year, nearly 1,500 marshals will participate in the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025 to ensure the smooth and safe running of the event.
Early this morning, marshals departed from their camps located in the Athletes’ Village and made their way to the circuit. They have already taken their designated positions and are preparing for every possible scenario they may encounter during the race days.
The marshals are divided into various functional groups: fire marshals, flag marshals, track marshals, and other support teams. Each group has specific responsibilities, but they all share a common goal to create a safe and seamless racing environment for both fans and drivers.
Today, the marshals walked the track to familiarize themselves with their posts, received detailed briefings, and conducted practice drills based on different scenarios. Each marshal’s role has been clearly defined, and all activities are focused on maintaining the highest level of safety.
