Masterclass in Hungary:Marquez Untouchable Yet Again
The 2025 Hungarian MotoGP Grand Prix marked the 14th consecutive victory for Marc Marquez on the factory Ducati. Joining him on the podium were Pedro Acosta (KTM) and Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia), representing three different manufacturers, none of which use Japanese motorcycles.
Despite some early difficulties in the race, Marquez confidently moved to the front and maintained his lead until the finish. Acosta successfully overtook Morbidelli and Bezzecchi to secure second place, while Bezzecchi finished third. Reigning champion Jorge Martin made an impressive charge from 16th to 4th position.
Francesco Bagnaia advanced from 15th to 7th place but received a penalty, and Fabio Quartararo finished tenth after serving a sanction. Key moments of the race included technical issues for Fabio Di Giannantonio and retirements from Johann Zarco, Alex Marquez, and Jack Miller.
The Hungarian Grand Prix marked MotoGP’s debut at the Balaton Park circuit, hosting the first race in the country since 1992. The next round will take place in Barcelona from September 5 to 7 the Catalan Grand Prix.
