Max Verstappen Stages Stunning Silverstone Comeback

Max Verstappen took part in an unusual karting race at Silverstone, starting from the back of a 100-driver field. The four-time Formula 1 world champion was given one simple challenge: overtake as many rivals as possible and fight his way to victory.Verstappen made an immediate impact, gaining more than ten positions from the start and climbing to 37th by the middle of the opening lap. Two laps later, he had moved into the top 10.The Dutchman briefly ran into trouble when he hit a kerb and lost a small part from his kart. However, the incident did little to slow his progress. By the end of the seventh lap, Verstappen had climbed to sixth and was quickly closing in on the leading group.He reached the top five before the end of the lap and continued to reduce the gap to the leaders. By lap 12, Verstappen had caught the front-running pack and soon moved into contention for the victory.Despite further position changes involving the race's special shortcut, Verstappen remained in control of his charge. On lap 14, he completed his remarkable comeback and crossed the finish line in first place.The victory took Verstappen around 35 minutes, significantly less than the 75 minutes originally allowed by the format.
