McLaren Strikes Cybersecurity Deal with Trend Micro

Unbranded space on the cars of Formula 1’s leading teams is a rare commodity, and McLaren has made the most of this opportunity by securing a new partnership with Trend Micro.

A global leader in cybersecurity, Trend Micro has already worked with the NEOM McLaren Formula E team and is now extending its presence to the pinnacle of motorsport.Under the new agreement, the company will serve as an official McLaren partner through the end of the current season, with the potential for a long-term collaboration.

The partnership goes far beyond a logo on the car’s nose cone.McLaren will benefit from Trend Micro’s cutting-edge technologies in data protection, cyberthreat prevention, and information security capabilities that are increasingly vital in the high-tech world of modern Formula 1.
