Milan Turns Red:Tifosi Welcome Ferrari Drivers
For Ferrari, the Monza weekend began early: on Thursday, thousands of tifosi gathered at Milan’s Piazza del Duomo to welcome Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton as part of the traditional Drive to Monza event.
This year, public interest was particularly strong, as fans saw Hamilton in Scuderia colors for the first time. Many queued from early morning in hopes of securing an autograph or photo, though only a few hundred were fortunate enough.
Leclerc, a two-time winner at Monza, admitted: “The emotions here are indescribable. Ferrari fans are truly unique. As they say in Italy: there is no two without three.”
Hamilton, who has claimed five victories at Monza with other teams, added: “The atmosphere is simply incredible. Driving for Ferrari is a special responsibility. Thank you to the tifosi for their passionate support it gives us the energy we need for the weekend.”
