Morbidelli Secures Future with VR46 in 2026 MotoGP

Italian rider Franco Morbidelli will remain with the VR46 team for the 2026 MotoGP season. The contract extension follows his move to the outfit at the beginning of the current year. This season, Morbidelli has already secured two podium finishes in Argentina and Qatar and currently holds sixth place in the overall standings, seven points ahead of his teammate Fabio Di Giannantonio.
“My bond with this team is very strong.I feel great here and I am happy to continue racing with Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing next season. We still have a year and a half ahead of us to show our full potential,” Morbidelli told Autosport.
