Norris Shines as McLaren Wins Constructors’ Championship

McLaren drivers finished third and fourth in Singapore, securing the Constructors’ Championship for the team with six races remaining in the season. The only notable incident occurred at the start, when Lando Norris made contact with Oscar Piastri, slightly dampening the Australian’s spirits.

Lando Norris commented: “After the race, I feel good. It was not an easy race Verstappen made no mistakes, so I had to give everything. There were moments when I could close in and have small duels, but overtaking was extremely difficult due to the high pace. It’s a pity I couldn’t catch up to George and apply pressure.

The first lap was challenging: parts of the track were still wet, and I had to manage the car’s sliding. Oscar and I were side by side, and a minor contact was inevitable. Overall, the start went well, and I was able to gain two positions thanks to an aggressive strategy. The result is very satisfying the team has once again won the Constructors’ Championship.”
