Norris Wins in Mexico for First Time at Hermanos Rodriguez

Lando Norris claimed a commanding victory at the Mexican Grand Prix, starting from pole and taking his first-ever win at the circuit. The success allowed the McLaren driver to move into the lead of the championship.

After the race, Norris noted that he had remained fully focused on his task and aimed to avoid any mistakes. He emphasized that his strong start and consistent pace from the very beginning enabled him to gradually pull away from his rivals.

“I simply focused on my job calmly and without unnecessary emotion. Everything went perfectly: the start, the opening lap, the pace. I’m very happy to win here in Mexico; it’s a special feeling. Thank you to all the fans for their support!” said Norris.

Oscar Piastri delivered a solid performance, gaining several positions and admitting that he continues to adapt his driving style to the car.
