Piastri Claims Bahrain Victory as McLaren Shines in the Desert

The fourth race of the new Formula 1 season is now complete, with the Bahrain Grand Prix delivering a memorable result for the McLaren team in the heat of the desert.

Official tyre supplier Pirelli provided the C1, C2, and C3 compounds for this round, where McLaren stood out as the dominant force in a highly competitive race.

Oscar Piastri secured his second win of the season and the fourth victory of his career, marking McLaren’s first-ever triumph in Bahrain. George Russell finished second, while Lando Norris completed the podium in third place.

Pierre Gasly, representing Alpine, scored his first points of the season. After the race, Nico Hülkenberg was disqualified when his car was found not to comply with technical regulations.

The next round of the championship will take place in Saudi Arabia, with the Jeddah Grand Prix scheduled from April 18 to 20.
