Pole-Position Perfection for Bezzecchi
The next round of the MotoGP World Championship is taking place in Austria, where Marco Bezzecchi delivered an outstanding performance during qualifying. The Italian rider secured pole position at the Red Bull Ring with an impressive lap time of 1:28.060.
One of the most notable incidents of the session involved LCR Honda rider Johann Zarco, who suffered his second crash of the day. Another setback occurred for Pedro Acosta, whose bike came to a halt as he was attempting to improve his lap time, forcing him to return to the pits and lose valuable time.
Later, championship leader Marc Márquez was involved in a crash that damaged his bike. Despite rejoining the session, he was unable to recover his earlier pace and ultimately qualified in fourth place.
The final crash of the session came during free practice, when Raúl Fernández went down, prompting yellow flags in both Sector 1 and Sector 2.
Following a challenging qualifying session, Bezzecchi emerged as the fastest rider, with Álex Márquez taking second and Francesco Bagnaia completing the front row in third.
