Second Day of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix Kicks Off Today

Today, the excitement continues in the capital as the second day of the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025 gets underway. Over the course of the day, three key sessions will take place.

At 12:30, Formula 1 drivers will head out for the final practice session, giving teams a last opportunity to fine-tune their setups on the track. This will be followed at 14:15 by the Formula 2 sprint race, where drivers will battle for victory. The day’s most anticipated moment comes at 16:00 with Formula 1 qualifying, where the grid will be decided for tomorrow’s main race.

In the evening, fans can look forward to a spectacular music program. The night will begin with a performance by the British indie-pop band Glass Animals. Their hit single Heat Waves made history by staying at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for seven consecutive weeks. Known for their creative style and engaging connection with the audience, the band promises to bring a unique energy and atmosphere to Baku.

The headline act of the evening will be none other than Martin Garrix, one of the most prominent names in global electronic music. A multiple-time No. 1 on the DJ Mag Top 100 list, Garrix will perform many of his world-renowned hits, including Animals, Scared to Be Lonely (with Dua Lipa), In the Name of Love (with Bebe Rexha), and We Are the People (with Bono and The Edge). With his high-energy sets and spectacular stage presence, Garrix’s performance is set to be the pinnacle of the race weekend’s entertainment.

It should be noted that the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025 began yesterday and will conclude tomorrow, September 21, with the main race.
