Top Teams Revealed at Red Bull Soapbox Race 2024 in Baku
On September 22, the Red Bull Soapbox Race 2024 was held in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku. The race featured 21 teams, each competing with creatively designed and self-built soapbox cars on a 300-meter course.
The team "21 Pilots" emerged as the overall winner, earning the highest points based on speed, creativity, and performance. The second and third places were awarded to teams Matador and Jack Daniels, respectively.
The winning teams received the following prizes:
🥇 1st Place: A trip to the Red Bull Hangar-7 museum in Salzburg, Austria
🥈 2nd Place: A trip to Oman to attend the Red Bull Car Park Drift World Final
🥉 3rd Place: A holiday at one of Azerbaijan’s premier winter resorts
The event was organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation.
The Red Bull Soapbox Race was first launched in 2000 in Belgium, and since then, has spread to over 100 countries, captivating tens of thousands of spectators. This marked the second edition of the event in Azerbaijan, continuing to build momentum with its blend of innovation, fun, and adrenaline.
