US Legend Cars returns to the capital
The US Legend Cars race has once again taken place in Baku, organized jointly by the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation, Caspian Event Organisers, and Baku City Circuit. The highly anticipated event was held at the State Flag Square and attracted considerable public interest.
A total of 23 experienced drivers competed in the qualifying round, with only 12 earning the right to advance to the main race. The event began with a qualification session, which was followed by the determination of the starting grid. Prior to the main race, motorsport fans enjoyed a thrilling Drift Show presented at the venue.
After a heated and competitive battle on the track, Adil Axundov emerged as the winner, marking his first-ever victory in the US Legend Cars series. Murad Hasanov secured second place, while Farid Guliyev finished in third.
The award ceremony was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, as well as the President of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation, Anar Alakbarov.
It is worth noting that the next round of the Baku Festival of Speed is scheduled to take place on July 19 at National Flaq Square.
