Verstappen Could Join Ford at Le Mans

Ford Racing is interested in seeing Max Verstappen join its factory team for the 24 Hours of Le Mans following the brand’s WEC debut in 2027. Head of Ford Racing Mark Rushbrook stated that such a scenario could become possible if the circumstances align favourably.

Verstappen himself has long expressed an interest in endurance racing and is currently preparing for the Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he will compete in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo entered by his own Verstappen Racing team.

Ford also admitted that it would like to see both Verstappen and his team competing in GT series with Ford machinery. The manufacturer has already confirmed Logan Sargeant, Seb Priaulx, and Mike Rockenfeller as part of its WEC programme.
