Williams Reveals Sleek Blue FW48
Williams has unveiled the new FW48 livery for the 2026 season
Chassis: Carbon fiber monocoque with lightweight composite materials, providing a high level of strength and safety in accordance with FIA standards.
Front suspension: Double-wishbone with pushrods, linkages, hydraulic dampers, and anti-roll bar. Rear suspension: Multi-link with pushrods, hydraulic dampers, and anti-roll bar.
Gearbox: 8-speed semi-automatic sequential Mercedes-AMG F1 transmission with seamless shifting and hydraulic actuation.
Clutch: Carbon multi-plate.
Wheels: Exclusive Williams magnesium alloy rims. Tyres: Pirelli front 280/705-18, rear 375/710-18.
Brakes: Brembo, 6-piston calipers front and rear; discs and pads made of carbon fiber.
Electronics: Standard FIA SECU electronic control unit.
Cooling system: Radiators for the engine, turbocharger, ERS, and gearbox.
Cockpit: Anatomically shaped carbon fiber seat with six-point safety harness.
Power unit: Mercedes-AMG F1 M17 E Performance.
Dimensions and weight: FIA minimum weight of 772.4 kg, excluding rounds with increased thermal load; height 970 mm, width 1900 mm.
